Thanks for visiting!  My name is Ed Marriott.  Boards & Barley is my blog for all the things I do related to board gaming and beer.  I am a game designer.  I am a home brewer.  I like to drink beer when I play board games.  These two things go hand in hand for me.

I designed a game that is published by Tasty Minstrel Games called Scoville.

Here at Boards & Barley I try to post content regularly. Usually on Mondays I post the Monday Brews where I recap the beer and board games I enjoyed the previous week. Sometimes I write Brewology 101 articles that can help rookie brewers (like myself) know a little bit more about brewing. More often I write articles about game design that are hopefully helpful to aspiring designers.
